An AlloDerm graft is recommended when a patient experiences discomfort and also to preserve the bone supporting the teeth. A tissue graft is removed from the palate membrane in order to cover an exposed gum surface. The absence of tissue harvesting reduces the risks of post-operatory pain and allows for a patient suffering from receding gums to beneficiate from a graft in order to reduce the risks of cavities, bone reduction or loss.
Consult with your dentist to know if you are a good candidate for an AlloDerm graft.
